Meet Andrea Morrissey, BCPPS

At Kids Med Guide, we’re lucky to have a powerhouse like Andrea Morrissey at the helm as our Founder and Chief Content Officer. Andrea is a Board Certified Pediatric Pharmacy Specialist (BCPPS), a title held by fewer than 2,000 professionals nationwide—a true testament to her dedication to advancing children’s health.

Andrea earned her Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. With over a decade of experience in pediatric clinical pharmacy, she’s passionate about making medical knowledge accessible for busy parents like herself.

But Andrea’s expertise doesn’t stop at pharmacy. She’s also a talented educator with a knack for translating complex medical concepts into clear, actionable advice for parents. As a mom to three kids under 10 years old, she deeply understands the constant juggling act parents face. (Fun fact: One of her kids always seems to be sick—Andrea’s house is basically a test lab for every home remedy and best practice she writes about!)

Beyond her professional life, Andrea loves hiking, reading, and spending time with her family—including their crazy dog. Whether it’s tackling a family-friendly trail or hosting a dance party in the living room, Andrea thrives on the joy of quality time together.
